NEVAFILM: 20 YEARS IN BUSINESS

 On 9 April 2012, Nevafilm is celebrating 20 years of success in the film industry.
Nevafilm’s achievements over this time speak for themselves:
- Dubbing provided for over 500 films for theatrical distribution (of which six received the Blockbuster Award for best dubbing, and two for best translation), more than 70 feature-length television films, and more than 1,300 episodes of various series.
- Voice-over provided for more than 100 Russian films (20 of which received various awards, including awards for sound production).
- The first digital mastering lab opened in Russia.
- More than 300 cinemas designed, and over 500 screens fitted with equipment for film exhibition.
- A technical support service opened which also includes a certified support service for IMAX screens.
- Regular broadcasts started of creative content in digital cinemas throughout Russia and the CIS.
- The largest research agency opened focussing on the modern Russian film exhibition market, which has since become a long-term partner and reliable source of information for the European Audiovisual Observatory, IHS Screen Digest, Dodona Research, and other organizations.
